Dr. Adam was honored to participate in a historic Tibetan Medicine conference. This event networked many Tibetan Medicine Practitioners (Menpa སྨན་པ་) from across North America and Canada.

For Adam, this event was a long-awaited reunion with some of his dear teachers, colleagues, and friends, such as Shang Shung Institute’s Director, Menpa Phuntsog Wangmo, as well as Kunde Institute’s Dr. Yangdron Kalsang.

This conference convened to discuss the modern practice and the future of this ancient healing science. We heard reports on some exciting projects in the world of Tibetan Medicine, as well as discussions about the challenges of integrating this ancient practice into the modern world. Dr. Adam presented on holding to the core values of the tradition and discussed his research on the safety and efficacy of traditional herbal medicine.
